Nadir Khalil Arbitration & Litigation is a sole proprietorship operated by Nadir Khalil and registered in the commercial register (Handelsregister) of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under no. 93596839. Khalil Arbitration is a registered trade name.

Conflicts and disclosure policy

Interested parties should not rely on this website as a complete or up to date source of information for conflicts or disclosure purposes. Mr Khalil does not have access to the database of all law firms with which he maintains professional connections.

Mr Khalil is a member of several professional organizations and attends conferences and events.  He does not maintain records of fellow members, speakers or participants, nor does he monitor contacts or connection lists on Linkedln and similar media.  Tangential connections in such contexts should not be considered to be close professional or personal relationships.

We request that any party in an arbitration for which Mr Khalil is proposed as arbitrator promptly disclose any facts or circumstances considered to be relevant to his impartiality or independence as soon as that information is reasonably available and to undertake a reasonable continuing search of publicly available information for that purpose promptly after learning of his prospective appointment.

Professional obligations 

Nadir Khalil is an attorney registered with the Dutch Bar Assocation (Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten) under BAR number A30806 and with the Solicitors Regulation Authority of England and Wales under SRA number 7169492.

He has registered civil procedure as his primary legal specialization and Arbitration and Litigation as his sub-specializations in the legal practice registry of the Dutch Bar Association. This registry requires him to obtain ten education points in each primary legal specialization in accordance with the norms of the Dutch Bar Association.

In accordance with professional rules, Mr Khalil has appointed an external lawyer as his substitute in case of unexpected unavailability. Further information is provided in the applicable terms of engagement.

Nadir Khalil Arbitration & Litigation does not maintain a third-party escrow account and does not hold funds in escrow for clients or third parties.
